Mami Tiff Featured On R29’s Unbothered For Speaking Up Against Don Lemon’s Arrest
Journalism is under attack. Late Thursday night and early Friday morning, independent journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort were arrested for covering an anti-ICE protest at a church in St. Paul, Minnesota. At a time when the federal government is distorting the facts and stripping away basic rights for all of us to witness, their work was urgent and necessary.
Activists Trahern Jeen Crews and Jamael Lydell Lundy were also apprehended. The four arrests were confirmed by U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi. All of the detainees are Black. We’re keeping an eye on this unfolding story and wishing for the safe return of these brave journalists and activists.
